Monday January 5th, 2009!
Hey Mrs. Hodge! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I have missed you over this long break. Nebraska was good..and I wish break was not coming to a end. I think our ideas about this community service project is great. We just need to finalize on a event that we can do and start planning dates, location, etc. I will be going again to talk to the T-Shirt guy on Tuesday to finalize them and they should be done within two weeks or so..sound good? Is there things that I need to be doing, or that you would like Liberal Arts as a advisory group can be doing?? I hope you and your family are all doing good. See you tomorrrrrrow! -CJ

Monday, December 8th, 2008
Hello. So this past month was kind of slow up until the 8th grade open house, which was fantastic! Everyone was there on time, with great spirits and everyone was just awesome. For t-shirts, I still need Briana to draw the Tiger paw on a flat sheet of paper before I can further the T-shirts along, but I have talked with Gee-Teez and their just waiting on us! I think there will be a meeting next week, just thanking everyone for the open house and any new news thats going on.
See ya next week.

Monday November 10th, 2008
Hey blog. This week was quite busy. Monday, we made the agenda for the Wednesday November 5th LAAB meeting. The things we discussed were:
- T-Shirts: will finalize on the 11th but figured out colors and the company for which we will will get our T-Shirts. I am trying to find out when there is the Alumni meeting so we can ask for a grant to get our shirts started
- Mentoring/Tutoring: Laab members seem interested in starting a mentoring/tutoring after school thing. I think it would be a wonderful benefit to kids, especially freshman and sophmores.
- Shadows: We got a couple volunteers on LAAB board to come in on the mornings or the weeks that will be quite busy.
- Open House: Need to make a sign up sheet with members that can for sure make it and will sign up for specific jobs at the open house (i.e Tours, stand by the sign, Auditorium etc.)
Our meeting was quite productive and our next meeting is this upcoming Tuesday November 11th, 2008. We will be finalizing on the tshirts and get all of those figured out. I will try and talk to with Dagny before the Tuesday meeting on what needs to happen before we start a tutoring group. I will also need to cut up the bookmarks and decide how we will be promoting the WIKI. Monday, I will need to make signs for the Tuesday meeting and we will need to figure a gift for the winner of the Tshirt contest! I will need to also make a agenda for the Tuesday meeting. OK CIAO!!!!!!
